Your allotment is the amount of medical cannabis you are allowed to purchase as a patient. Patients in Arkansas are allowed to purchase up to 2.5 ounces every two weeks.
While it says a “two-week period,” it doesn’t mean that your entire allotment resets every two weeks on a certain date. The two weeks will shift depending on when you purchase. Basically, you can always purchase 2.5 ounces minus the amount you’ve purchased in the past two weeks. Once a purchase is at least two weeks old, you will once again have that number of ounces available in your allotment.
Example:
• Jack goes to NEA Full Spectrum and purchases 2 ounces.
• One week later, he purchases .5 ounces.
• Two weeks after his first purchase of 2 ounces, he will once again have 2 ounces in his allotment.
• Two weeks after his second purchase of .5 ounces, he will once again have .5 ounces in his allotment.
Confused? That’s okay. At NEA Full Spectrum, your remaining allotment is always printed at the bottom of your receipt when you make a purchase. You can also check it at https://www.neafullspectrummedicine.com/check-my-ar-allotment.
